Doubling Terms of Service

Version: 1.0
Effective date: October 14, 2026

Doubling’s 2.00× target is a relative exercise-load target compared with your baseline workout. It does not mean that your fitness, cardiovascular capacity, health, or physical ability has literally doubled.

1. Purpose of the service

Doubling (the “App”) is a personal treadmill-training aid that records workouts and estimates session-by-session exercise-load targets and progression based on your baseline workout and subsequent performance. A completed baseline workout is represented as 1.00×, and each training cycle is designed to progress gradually toward 2.00×.

2. Not medical care

The App’s plans, estimated session counts, completion dates, exercise-load calculations, personalization results, and other information are for general fitness guidance only. The App is not a medical device, medical service, diagnosis, treatment, prevention service, or individualized medical prescription. Stop exercising if you experience pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms, and seek professional care when appropriate.

3. Your responsibility and treadmill safety

You are responsible for choosing a speed, incline, and duration appropriate for your condition and ability and for using the treadmill safely. Where a compatible treadmill supports Bluetooth control, commands may be delayed, disconnected, rejected, or behave differently across devices. Always confirm the actual machine state.

4. Calculations and estimates

Exercise-load and progression calculations use an evidence-informed engineering model together with your recorded workouts. Estimated sessions, dates, adaptation rates, settings, and other forecasts are not guarantees. Actual outcomes may differ because of training response, recovery, equipment characteristics, sensor accuracy, and other factors.

5. Training cycles and the 2.00× target

Each training cycle presents that cycle’s baseline as 1.00× and guides progression toward 2.00×. A new cycle may again display 1.00× even though the App can retain prior workload information for long-term forecasting. Those internal values are engineering references and are not medical measures of how many times fitter you are.

6. Local data and backup

The App is designed around local-first storage. You may export a backup file through the system file picker to a location you choose. Recovery cannot be guaranteed after device loss, damage, operating-system failure, or loss of a user-managed backup.

7. Health-platform integration

If you optionally enable Apple Health or Health Connect integration, completed workout information may be exported to that platform. Once exported, those records are governed by the platform and your settings there. Deleting local App data does not automatically delete records already exported to a health platform.

8. Changes to the service

Features, calculation models, interfaces, and supported platforms may change for improvement or technical reasons. Historical workout records will be preserved where reasonably possible, but future features and estimates are not guaranteed to remain identical.

9. Prohibited use

You may not use the App for unlawful purposes or in a manner that interferes with the normal operation of the App or related systems. You may not reproduce or distribute the App or its components beyond what applicable law and licenses permit.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the provider may limit liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the App. Nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea to the extent they do not displace mandatory laws that apply to you.
